Blackett Street 1935

Blackett Street was built in 1824 and follows the line of the old City Walls.

Barry Noble had lots of fruit and veg shops all over the north east and this outlet would be one of his flagship shops.

Note the beautiful four storey Eldon Buildings housing the elegant Eldon Grill.
